Bouled over!
The hidden garden of the Luttrell Arms at Dunster was the venue for a joint evening of Boules between Taunton Vale and Minehead Rotary Clubs.
A dozen or so members from each club first enjoyed drinks and pizzas on a sunny evening in this delightful location. Then the serious part of the event started with our competitive game of Boules. Having read the rules, they were quickly abandoned in favour of a simplified game of pairs. Minehead took an early lead and were winning at the end of the first round, but like the Murray / Evans tennis match earlier that day, at 5 down Taunton Vale bought on the big guns - won 7 throws in a row and then the match.
